Sullivan’s Top 10 Favourite Board Games
I’m Sullivan from No Rolls Barred, this is the collection starter, and here are my Top 10 Board Games of All Time.
7. Mansions of Madness
Oooooooooh spooooooky, it’s a spooky game set in a spooky house, that’s sometimes also not set in a house but is largely set in a house.
Have you ever wanted to play a game that will actually terrify you while also being mechanically interesting with every new campaign (looking at you Betrayal).
Mansions has you exploring a Lovecraftian house filled with spookems and hideous Cthulhu monsters.
Not only do you get your fix of Cthulhu mythos with the accompanying app that takes you through the story, but you also get to have a lot of fun role playing the characters as this is one of the best games at telling a story through its mechanics.
And that makes you care about these characters, which only raises the tension further.
I’ve never played with this without my heart racing in some way and that is exactly what I like in a game.
